Main Info
The Kastraki old Aqueduct – Monastery of Roussanou Trail starts at a grove next to the old aqueduct of Kastraki and ends at the road next to the monastery of Roussanou. It is a beautiful, technical trail, set right in the middle of Meteora. Large trees cover almost the entire trail and the constant change in going uphill/downhill make it a fantastic trail-running trail. This is also how you get to see the prisons of the monks, as the trail passes right beneath them.
